Long ago, I was taught to love the rain and to embrace the deep rumble of a distant roll of thunder. To love the privilege of being privy to God's personal light shows.
I love this time of the year. ~smile~
On days like this, I want to curl up with a good book and read for hours. Or work on a craft while watching a good movie. A hot bowl of soup finishes off a wonderful day.
What do you do on rainy days? If you don't like them much, ask God to start showing you the rainbows in the cloudy skies. You'll start seeing them in the sky, and maybe, in your life.
God bless you all!

Fun post Emily. I love a rainy day! It makes the earth so pretty and I love the fresh smell. It rained here yesterday and I enjoyed a rainy day herbal tea. Thanks for sharing with SYC.

Oh, how I love rainy days. In fact, it's raining AND snowing here today. The fire is warm and cozy and I have the urge to brew some more coffee and do a little crafting :)
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing with Roses of Inspiration. Hugs and blessings to you!
Hello!
ReplyDeleteI'm new here and just wanted to stop by and to say "hello" and to keep going! Your blog is important and a blessing -- I know I was encouraged in my "wardrobe" in being content, happy and joyful dressing beautifully and affordably!
So thank you!
Blessings!
