Do Hard Things Giveaway!!! {closed}

Do you feel like you aren't getting enough out of your life? That you could do better? Do you have dreams and ideas, but you're afraid you can't make them happen? Are you tired of being expected to do stupid stuff as a teenager, just because you fall between the ages of thirteen and eighteen? Then Do Hard Things is for you.
Do Hard Things is a powerful book that will challenge you, literally, to rethink your life.
It challenges you to be more than what people expect of you, and to step out for Christ. It challenges you to make a difference, to do the smallest hard thing, to the biggest hard thing. Do Hard Things shows how we can be more than just teenagers. We can be Rebelutionaries.
What's a rebelutionary? Someone who joins the Rebelution.
What's the Rebelution? A teenage rebellion against low expectations.
Do you want to start being more than what you're expected to be? Then Do Hard Things.

I am giving away a hard back copy of Do Hard Things.

Christmas!

It's the best time of the year! I really enjoy all the hustle and bustle. I guess it's because I like to be busy with activities; a lot of activities. Which can be a bit of a problem sometimes. We have to be careful that our focus is on God and not just the activity of the season.
Enjoy your Thanksgiving!

God Bless America!!

Hi everybody! I just got back from American Government Camp. Sounds boring, right? No. I had a ton of fun and learned a lot. My most memorable lit-drop (taking pamphlets to people's houses) experience happened before lunch on Saturday. We were in Lee Summit hitting doors, as we had been assigned to do. I went up to this house and knocked; an old man came to the door and I started in on my script.
" Hi, I'm a volunteer with the Republican party and Mitt Romney. I have some information on the upcoming election. Would you like some?"
" Well," he said, "I'm a staunch Democrat, but I'd kill the president we have in office now."
I stepped back in surprise. " You're a democrat, but you'd kill the president?"
" Well, I'd make you think he was dying."
" Okay," I said. " Would you like the information anyway?"
" Yeah, I'll give to my landlord."
" OK, you have a nice day."
" You, too."
Most definitely the most memorable!!
Second, (that will most likely live on in the hearts of, well, myself and a few others)
is the catcall. Now, bear in mind that we all got up around 4:00 o'clock in the morning and we were exhausted from the day before, not to mention the work we had been doing that day.
Saturday night, we all phone banked. The day before, team B.O.B. (my team) had gotten the Akin phones (we were campaigning specifically for him on them), so we had to use cell phones that night. Therefore, a bunch of us were in a back room making phone calls.
Now, our first mistake was to have Lydia (a girl form my team) and I sitting beside each other. Come to think of it, having any of the girls sitting with each other probably was a bad idea. You'll see why in a minute.
Anyway, we had been calling for maybe a hour or so, when I made this call.
It rang once, twice, thrice, four times, and then picked up. But no one answered.
Then, of course, like any girl who got up at 4 a.m. is bound to do, (or at any time for that matter) I leaned over and told Lydia.
" I got one like that, too," she exclaimed.
" Well," I said. " I wonder if I cat jumped up and knocked the phone off the receiver or something. But, I didn't hear a crash, or a meow, or anything."
We laughed for nearly 5 minutes.
We couldn't help ourselves. They had to send us out of the room so we wouldn't disturb everyone. When we finally got control of ourselves and we had told our story a few times, it wasn't that funny. But, the experience was!
So now, when I get a call like that, I call it a... Catcall!!
I had a great time, and I'm looking forward to coming back in couple years! Of course these are only a few experiences, we were there for a whole week! I miss my friends already and can't wait to see them again!

Teen for the Lord
P.S.
I don't know about y'all, but we were all depressed when we heard the results of the election. A lot of us cried and a bunch of us ended up standing in front of a cross on the camp grounds praying for  each other and our country.
No matter who is president, God is always Infinite. And no matter what our government says, we still have our God given rights of Life and Liberty.
IN GOD WE TRUST!!!
AMEN!!
