I think sometimes we forget to continue praying for things. Like healing, fulfillment, peace. There are many things we pray for and many things God will give. Now, most likely it won't include a million dollars to buy a sports car, and the latest techno gadgets to prevent your little brother or sister from barging in your room. But, it does include miracles.
God is amazing. That's a fact. No, it really is.
He made people rise from the dead in the Bible and, He still does today. He sends angels to protect people, provides for the penniless, blesses the humble, and gives strength to the weak.
The Bible says to pray without ceasing. To knock at the door and it shall be opened to you, to seek and you shall find, to ask and it will be given to you. God will not break Hid promise of provision to us, but He also won't just give us every little thing we want.
So take your prayer seriously. God is the controller of the universe. He has the power to destroy the universe in a single snap of His fingers, or create the most minute detail in a microscopic organism. He's not to be taken lightly. Neither is His word.
