Once again I apologize for not writing in sooooo long. (Is this how all my posts start??????) Anyway, since I last wrote I have really been getting stressed, exhuasted, tempormental, and basicly emothionally out of whack. Please be praying. I am fighting against it, but things take time.
One thing I'm holding on to is a phrase I learned at Church camp:
" If I change everything changes."
And man, do I want to change!!!
A good verse for this is 2 Corinthians 5:17:
Whoever is a believer in Christ is a new creation. The old way of living has disappeared. A new way of living has come into existence. ("God's word" version)
When we say we are the Children of God, we are saying that we are Jesus' brother or sister. That is serious. Don't you think we should try to live according to His standards? It only makes since. We are precious. God thinks so and I know so. Why else would Jesus suffer the cruelest death of that time?
Because He loves us. It is as simple as that.
So I am going to try to do better this week. You can too. But remember, unless you seek God's help in changing your lifestyle, it won't work out right.
